KIRKUS REVIEW

Low comedy carryings-on attend the murder of Merlin Broadstone, health fadist, public idol, but unloved in the bosom of his family -- all present. In the fairly slack investigation by young John Hugo, whose interest in the case is deflected by Sandra, Broadstone's niece and his only suspect, very little is accomplished until the dead man's brother-in-law clears the prospective inheritors, builds up a new suspect and solution for Hugo...A farce which is really not as funny as it tries to be.
