KIRKUS REVIEW

With Shettles at the test tube and Rorvick at the typewriter, these two have collaborated before (Your Baby's Sex, 1970) to bring readers virtually the same message--that by carefully calculating the time of the month when intercourse takes place, and by regulating the ""climate of the vagina"" with acid or alkaline douches, it is possible to choose the sex of your child. In this ""new"" volume, the authors claim to have included information making Shettles' method for sex selection even more reliable, but his success rate stands at 80%. So, readers would probably have been better served by an updated edition of their first effort. It made more interesting reading.
