KIRKUS REVIEW

Gently of the Yard (who's not been around for quite some years but is holding up well) handles the case of a distant cousin Fazakerly--Siggy for short, accused of killing his wife Clytie--Clytemnestra for long. In fact incriminating evidence makes Siggy a sure thing ""for the high jump."" Except for Clytie's New Woman relationship with a woman downstairs while a necklace of gems redirects the suspicion. Affable but slight--gently does it.
