KIRKUS REVIEW

A picture book, with over 200 photographs, chiefly connected with his own cruise around the world in the Joseph Conrad, with youths who were serving as crew. The introduction deals with the subject of school ships, chiefly in the Scandinavian countries, and some of the pictures have to do with that, his own experience was the outgrowth of his investigations, and he purchased a one-time school ship for the purpose. Sell to those interested primarily in photographs of sailing vessels.
