KIRKUS REVIEW

Nonsense must make some sense or there's no sense to it at all. Word play may be the wedge, or Wishful thinking, but this is nothing but a succession of incongruities unrelated to each other or to anything else except a rhyming pattern: ""If you think of a train/ that runs in a brook,/ Or a picture reading a picture book,/ Or a talking rock,/ Or a hawk that sings,/ Do you know what you're doing?/ Imagining things!"" Mayhem, maybe.
