HOPPIE THE HOPPER

Rand McNally call this an In-Action Book, and it tells of the adventures of a little grasshopper with purple shoes, and it is activated in this way. The back cover contains a plastic strip with a picture of Hoppie, and each page has a rectangular hole. The strip goes through the hole and as the pages turn, Hoppie literally hops from the meadow to the sun flower to the beach. The pictures by Eleanor Corwin are deliberately cute. Paper over board for the book-toy market, but not the best buy.
