KIRKUS REVIEW

Seventeen short stories, dogs and humans interwoven, and most of them well above average. Collies as usual -- predominate, but there is one story of a setter, one of a crossbred pointer, one of bloodhounds and the police. Hunting stories for the men readers well handled sentiment and human interest for women readers all dog lovers. Here is another collection of short stories to list for rental library to meet the demand of convalescents wanting pleasant short stories. The Terhune same carries a certain assurance to dog lovers.
