KIRKUS REVIEW

Daughters of ""Mother Anderson"" of the famous Dutch Kitchens in Minnesota (near Rochester), have collected these recipes long proved popular in this well-known mid-western hotel. Favorite dishes- here presented in family quantity, with enough of human interest and color and anecdote to add extra spice. At first I thought this was one cook-book I didn't need for myself, but I was so intrigued by some of the special bread and roll recipes, some the desserts, some of the preserves, conserves and pickles, and some very good ideas for second day dishes from left-overs, that the book goes out to my country kitchen this week-end, for sampling. I'm sure I gained pounds just reading it.
