THE CASE OF LEON TROTSKY

An important reference book, but one that is scarcely likely to build up a general sale among those not actively interested in the meticulous study of the case for and against Leon Trotsky. This is a transcript of the proceedings in the hearing of the preliminary commission of inquiry into the charges made against Trotsky in the Moscow Trials. This hearing was held in Mexico, April 1937. There is an introduction, summing up the findings and analyzing the method. But the bulk of the book is an actual court record, made by a court reporter from Chicago. For libraries etc.
