WINKIE The Grey Squirrel

An English import in the best of the picture tradition, for the full color, facing pages, and black and white single spots, by Ralph S. Thompson are classic in their detail and really pretty colors. They accompany the text admirably and show how the little grey squirrel was picked up after a fall, brought home, and had the run of the house and outdoors; they show too what a tease and greedy-gut he was, how the fall and coming of winter made a pattern, of hoarding nuts, finding a nest, etc., that he had to follow. For a definitely conservative buying group.
