KIRKUS REVIEW

The posters which have been distributed to the book trade are enough in themselves to fire even the most apathetic non-fan with enthusiasm. All available advance information, all glimpses of illustrative material by Lucille Corcos (11 full pages in full color, nice splashy postery effects- and innumerable black and whites); examination of the excellent arrangements, simple enough for other than professionals, and yet sacrificing none of the Sullivan quality; and a rapid skimming of the contents to make sure none of one's own favorites are omitted (11 operettas- 400 pages of music and illustrations and text) -- and it makes easy a prophecy that here is one of 1941's easy best sellers. There is a special prepublication offer (and already the orders are piling up so that the original printing order has had to be increased) -- $4.50 First editions guaranteed only if received before September 10th.
