A LA FERME / AT THE FARM; CHEZ NOUS / AT OUR HOUSE

A new approach to learning a language, with the French on one page, the English translation on the facing page, the nouns printed in color, and a vocabulary and pronunciation guide at the back. Where it differs from others of its kind is that the content is sufficiently interesting to carry the child along. In the one case, a summer vacation on a farm in a hope for many children; in the other, the home activities are familiar ones. Idiomatic enough to escape the standard brand stigma.
