POWERS THAT BE

The Invisible Influence created -- in England -- a demand for a course of lectures, carrying on the subject in somewhat more concrete form. This book is a compilation of these lecturers, and goes quite specifically into such matters as Oriental and Occidental Hypnotism, how induced and how used; Telepathy; Faith Healing; Black Magic; The Science of the Mind. There is a good deal of ""case history"" in anecdotal material and factual evidence of Dr. Cannon's own experiments in things of the spirit. For those interested in esoteric philosophy, in spiritualism, in forces of nature outside the material, this book should find a market.
