FOUR HORSE-PLAYERS ARE MISSING

By

Publisher: Coward-McCann

When a bright young New York lawyer secretly plays the horses and his wife decides to teach him a lesson by becoming a bookie you are just starting. Because Melanie discovers she is bucking the Syndicate when Jerry, her husband, draws in two judges and a toy manufacturer to ride with the unknown bookie, and Tony Gagoots does not like losing his customers (known only to the electronic machines he uses). Melanie's fine work on the odds keeps her in financial hysterics, Gagoots' hoodlums catch up with her, and chaos is confounded when Gagoots goes into partnership with her on a publishing deal. For the racing sheet knowledgeables -- a farce to be relished.
