A man shot and dumped under a bridge in Quebec is not only a carrier of deadly buboes (bubonic plague) but also copper-coated coins which render them temporarily inert. Sohn and Anheuser of Security process other potential vectors -- particularly the lovely, deadly Ilsa in Barbados -- in an attempt to isolate the real contaminator. . . . Showy and brutal it is, but it's also as preemptive and potent an entertainment as you'll find along these lines.
