TREASURE IN DEVIL'S BAY

This adventure story has continental atmosphere (it takes place on the Spanish Island of Palmera), the special attraction of skindiving to retrieve the treasures of an ancient Greek ship, two appealing teenage heroes--one American, the other French--and a pleasantly humorous tone. This helps to compensate for the fact that the incident itself, which involves keeping the objects from being swiped for the private collection of a wealthy art collector, is absurdly contrived, and that the boys seems to go out of their way to complicate the solution. Not a real find, but it should surface easily to that predictable market.
