OPEN THE DOOR

Pete, a small boy, cannot find his cat Ginger. He goes from room to room calling the animal. Finally he opens his closet door and there is the drowsing cat. In his search, Pete not only finds Ginger but learns the fascination of opening doors and making discoveries. Illustrated by Jo Polseno, this story revolves about a situation which young readers should find interesting , but is not fictionally developed into a form which has much substance or suspense.
