KIRKUS REVIEW

With topranking magician as collaborator, the legerdemain herein can be relied on, as a magician-clue-chaser solves an evermounting pile of liquidated bodies (if laid end to end well). New York provides old robbery as motive, and suspects come from society, nightclubs, and magicians' union. No vitamin D -- but entertaining.
