KIRKUS REVIEW

A good introduction to electricity covering the essentials, for the adult or elder boy or girl wanting to have a bowing acquaintance with the subject. The essentials are there what is electricity and where does it come from, static electricity, magnetism, the production of electric current, electromagnetism (telephone, bells, telegraph), induction, condensers, direct and alternating currents, and such miscellaneous branches as the X-ray, photo cell, etc. This is the answer to the need in adult education, readers' advisor work with foreigners in an excellent elementary introduction.
