KIRKUS REVIEW

A good introduction to electricity covering the essentials for anyone wanting to have a bowing acquaintance with the subject. The essentials are there: what is electricity and where does it come from? Static electricity, magnetism, the production of electric current, electromagnetism, induction, condensers, direct and alternating current, and such miscellaneous branches as X-ray, photo cell, etc. Not a how-to-do book, but good factual general information.
