KIRKUS REVIEW

The author (Mrs. Jean Schick Grossman) is known through Child Study Association as an authority on child development. Her pen name is used for her column in ""Calling All Girls""-- and this book is based on the tremendous correspondence that column has elicited. It is a book on the problems of adolescent girls, problems of friendship, of boys, of the need for popularity, for parental understanding, problems of racial prejudice, of social bias, of money, and so on. A book that should help parents and teachers understand teen age girls in their normal development today.
