This should have double listing under Parents and Teachers; definitely it is a book which should be introduced by adults to children, at whatever age the ""facts of life"" are to be properly presented. Children on a farm, children with pets, are ready earlier for a book such as this, in which kittens, puppies, ponies, calves, chicks, and creatures of the insect world, etc. are made the basis for simple stories of their birth, growth, training, etc. Well done -- should meet a real need.
