STORIES FOR GROWING

We have here a collection of thirty stories that should prove very useful to those who preach sermons to children or to those who are on the look-out for illustrative material in their work with children either in regular or church school. The book is divided into five sections; I- Old, Old Tales Retold (from Persian, African, Indian and Turkish sources); II- Songs from the Old Testament; III- Across the Centuries (with a historical basis); IV- Boys and Girls Today (incidents of contemporary child life); and V- Seasonal Stories (Christmas, Faster, United Nations Day) Independence Day. Some will find them too moralizing.
