A young clergyman and his wife and the various problems of their parishioners offer an inoffensive picture of small town life. Evelyn and David provide solutions for Marsha, who hates her stepmother and who almost loses her fiance, Rick; for Jill whose success as a singer is helped by her pianist, Julina; for Rick, himself, who finally breaks the bonds of his mother's possessiveness; and for Marsha's father who wins back his children. Evelyn's baby and the decision about David's future round out the story, in human terms. Pleasant.
