A LITTLE MAID OF VALLEY FORGE

One of the best of a good series. A story of the days immediately preceding the winter quarters of Valley Forge and during the time when the British were plotting to capture Philadelphia. Nancy was twelve and her adventures with her playmates, with the British spy and with her pony make good reading and convey a picture of life going on while the fate of the new nation was at stake.
