. . . . how to put Nature to work for them, as this successor to The Indians Knew tells in easy language and large type. The Pilgrims let waterwheels grind their corn and they let moving air move their ships. The authors show that today we still take advantage of these same forces and they suggest simple experiments for children to conduct themselves. Crowded classrooms would not offer facilities for some of the experiments, but children could do them at home.
