ROUND THE MULBERRY HILL

The story is of secondary interest, for the real story is in the picture of the seasonal round on a farm where the children take their share of responsibility and have their share of work and fun. The animals and their care occupy an important place in the foreground and there is good content material on animal husbandry and the source of food which should make this a useful book in progressive schools. The vocabulary is keyed to eight and nine year olds.
