KIRKUS REVIEW

The story of a high school orchestra, the disappearance of the Stradiva belonging to the guest violinist, and the effect the mystery had on Phyllis Wilson who had very serious aspirations to be a great violinist. The book is attractive looking but the story is quite dull, the characterisations inadequate, the mystery carries real suspense and the solution is disappointing. May find a limited public because high school setting.
