ASSIGNMENT IN IRAQ by Allan MacKinnon

ASSIGNMENT IN IRAQ

By

Publisher: Doubleday

The man in the middle of all kinds of middle-eastern trouble is Ken Cameron who takes an assignment in Iraq as tutor to the daughter of a shaikh Hussein Ali after his wife threatens to divorce him. He is shot at in Cairo, gunned for in India, and is at the wrong end of a murder charge when he kills one of his assailants but is able to connect the members and motives of an outlawed nationalist brotherhood. Smooth touches for the international hotfoot, very lively and perhaps less likely.
