Twenty year old Johnny Diamond avenges a six years' old massacre of his family in tracing the evil doers to the Picketwire River in Colorado in the late '80's. Johnny wins the friendship and belief of the sheriff, offers himself as live bait for the remainder of the criminal gang, falls in love. A youthful bounce for misplaced energy.
