KIRKUS REVIEW

The making of a man out of a waster and a weakling when Craig Harlan, who hates the west his father loved, only inherits some land. How Craig helps some stranded migrants, catches an outlaw singlehanded, helps to apprehend a or band as well as his own personal enemy, and wins the love of a good woman proves he's an hombre and not a heel. If not lusty, at least lively enough for most tastes.
