ROGER THOMAS, ACTOR

On the career basis, this has excellent and unusual material. As a story, it limps, and the central character, Roger Thomas, a teen age stage struck youth, is a bloodless vehicle for the text. He enters the drama department at the University of Minnesota and four years later graduates as a promising young Thespian. Conversant with the theories of projection, familiar with the Stanislavsky method, the approaches of various New York academies, knowledgeable in techniques, Roger impersonates the information other aspiring young actors require. It is unfortunate that he remains a lay figure.
