Tuchman, Janet Flanner and Penelope Gilliatt while the people talked about are Francis Bacon, migrant worker poet Luis Valdez, Philip Johnson, Marianne Moore, Nabokov, Saul Bellow, Harold Pinter, Marcello Mastroianni, Andrew Wyeth, Janis Joplin, Harold Ross among others. Art, architecture, theatre, music, literature--Vogue-ish vignettes presented with style and with what will presumably be prominent photographs (not seen here).
