KIRKUS REVIEW

Children have met these two little mice before. This time their mother has decided that they need to know more than they are learning. Counting to five is not enough she thinks. So off to school to Mrs. Town Mouse they go. She taught them up to twelve- and then retreated to the city, fearful of the country threats....This reader doesn't care for this sort of personified, semi-humorous treatment- no Snug and Serena left her unmoved.
