Sometimes a joke can go on past the laughter point. This one goes on long enough to be found between boards. 74 pages. 72 past that laughter point. Sometimes the cartoons can save this sort of spoof. Not this time. It takes its title from ""isometrics,"" the sedentary man's exercise. ""Lazometrics"" is for the nearly supine. The text lectures, quite formally, on how to get the most out of the minimal movement, such as pressing an elevator button. The satire on the exercise fad is accurate enough, but too thin for a sustained grin.
