Contemporary Indian life in Oklahoma with a rather stuffy presentation, but useful as regional material. Emmy, eleven-year-old Seneca Indian girl, named after Miss Emeline, teacher in a Quaker school, although part of a white civilization, shares in the ceremonies and traditions of her Indian people -- legends of animals and the Little People, the Green Corn Festival, games, dances and of course ""tribal"" habits of community living and religion.
