The laugh quotient is high: witness the different levels of humor in ""Cheap sheep soup,"" ""If Stu chews shoes, should Stu choose the shoes he chews,"" and the closing ""Crow, Cock! Caw, Crow!"" And Abrams keeps pace, rising with special exuberance to ""Sixty-six sneaky snakes"" and ""Nellie Needle nibbles noodles."" This is Schwartz' second tongue-twister collection and his third I Can Read (the other two being riddles and noodle tales), but it shows no signs of slackening spirit.
