FOLLOW THE WIND

The Tresselt-Duvoisin team haven't missed yet and here is another lovely picture book. This is the story of the wind which ""blew for days and days"", bending the trees, snapping up kites, blowing off hats, turning windmills, making rain and hurricanes. Nothing can go to the end of the wind; nothing can stop the wind, but the wind grows tired and gently rocks itself to sleep. The full color pictures gleam with natural colors, the lines twist and turn with movement, and the prose supplies the personality of the wind itself, laughing, crying, singing softly. The uncomplicated, simple story and the quiet, satisfying climax makes this pleasant bedtime reading.
