KIRKUS REVIEW

With soft brown illustrations by Leonard Weisgard, delicately reproduced in gravure, this is a warm and simple nature story. It follows through with one rabbit in a litter of three, who learns from her mother, who is trapped raiding a farmer's lettuce patch, becomes the farmer boy's pet, but runs away to be wild again and raise her own young. Fine for Easter too. Back sewn.
