A SPYCASE BUILT FOR TWO

This is one of Amelia Walden's overdressed, overheated entertainments reintroducing Jim Mack and Todd Dixon of the C.I.A., along with Brad Pollock, who works in tandem on spy cases but lost his last girl partner, and Susan Adams, her replacement. They are intended to bring in the most elusive freelancer, Revington, who will presumably attend an international conference in Portugal where most of this takes place. No matter how hurriedly read, one suspects that it has also been sloppily written. Perhaps not a material consideration.
