KIRKUS REVIEW

Mexican-Indian folk lore and legendary data with historical base. Fact and fiction interwoven in a series of stories with their roots in Toltec, Aztec and Spanish conquistadores days. The author is an archeologist. Difficult background to fill in for young readers, this is doubtless needed.
