Second section -- sign posts to the city scene, takes the state city by city, giving the facts needed, for traveler or reference; section three, up and down the state, plans tours around a focus of 14 towns, gives space to national parks, the exposition, etc. Chronology, reading list and index give the book permanent reference value. Map in separate pocket. Illustrated with fine photographs, beautifully reproduced. Not a substitute for the Drury book, but a useful guide, for visitors and travelers.
