This sounds just like those early '40's when a gift was a tomato and everyone else is a wiseass unless you want to combine the last three letters with something else except for shamus Jack LeVine entailed in a case which leads from the blackmail of a chorus girl to New York City political ramifications -- Dewey's upcoming election and other Big Apple pips. . . . It doesn't count for anything except loose change back then when it bought a little more than overtired familiarity.
