KIRKUS REVIEW

For the first time (hopefully he'll be back)--not that York favorite Dominator-Expurgator-Fascinator Jonas Wilde--introducing Tommy Angel who had been shopped by his gift (later eliminated) and sent to prison for three years. Angel, while not the perfect patsy he seems, signs on the boat of a rich diamond smuggler but there's a still more potent organization to make it apparent that diamonds and lives are not forever. Angel's not as suave as Wilde but he's right there and the story moves with the forthwith assurance of one of our few professionals.
