ARTIST'S LIFE by Angna Enters

ARTIST'S LIFE

By

Pub Date: Sept. 23rd, 1958
Publisher: Coward-McCann

Culled from memories and extensive journal notes which she kept from the early 1930's to the present, Miss Enters' book is top-heavy with anecdotes, descriptions, and events in the life of a versatile and productive artist. Beginning with mime and dance, Miss Enters soon expanded her artistic horizons to writing and painting which she presented to audiences all over the world. Her personal growth and the growth of her repertoire in the arts emerged from an amalgamation of creative energy, commercial naivete and a consuming interest in classical art and religion. Somewhere in this voluminous account of travels, colleagues, friends, costuming, dance techniques, the wit of a talented and resourceful woman is perceptible. However, the tedious result of too much data will interest only an esoteric few.
