THE ESKIMO STORE

Ann's parents run a Trading Post in Alaska and through their trading and her Eskimo friend, Nancy, she learns something of Eskimo customs, and clothes. Her dearest wish is for a fawn skin parka and Nancy's mother makes her one for Christmas, so the two little girls become indistinguishable when they go outdoors. Primer-like simplicity and repetition will make this a possibility for the very beginning reader and the type is large and easy to read.
