KIRKUS REVIEW

As in Bread, Bread, Bread and Hats, Hats, Hats (1989), sympathetic, well-composed color photos explore these universal activities. Loving, which shows parents and children from many countries and ethnic groups nurturing and sharing joy, is the stronger book: the variety of transportation shown in On the Go is less unusual. Indexes keyed with stamp-size photos expand the texts' very brief information--not handy, but perhaps appropriate for the youngest readers. Attractive, mind-expanding books.
