COOKED TO YOUR TASTE

Not an appealing looking book, this nonetheless is packed with interesting and valuable and useful information, background for the main part of the book which presents palatable vegetable recipes. There are charts of nutrition values -- buying guides -- sections on short cuts and hints on cleaning, storing, and equipment. The cooking guide is prefaced by general directions on methods -- and there's a seasoning guide -- what herbs, spices, etc. with what vegetables -- and time charts, tables of measurements and temperatures, sauces and salad dressings. The actual recipes sound tempting. The arrangement is alphabetical under classifications; the instructions simple enough for the neophyte. And the index is easy to use. Ok for cookbook addicts.
