KIRKUS REVIEW

New framework, nest as Doria Meredith, acquitted of the murder of her unfaithful husband, is not quite able to remember what happened -- and takes her problem to a psychiatrist, Dr. Owen. Nonplussed scientifically, intrigued romantically, Owen pursues the investigation which involves the dead man's mistress, his family (hostile to Doris,) and her brother -- the lawyer who acquitted her. Spottable solution, but tense reading, with some fine psychotic provocation.
