Set free with their pony, Roly, to enjoy the adventures of a summer by the ocean, the three Tyler children do not lose a minute in their quest of excitement. Determined to obtain a real boat, they take off into the marshes where they apprehend Jingo, a wild little orphan with an even bigger yen for a boat then theirs- Jingo has gone so far as to steal what he cannot buy. A period of rehabilitation follows for the little outlaw and when his uncle is killed Jingo in officially adopted by the happy, sea-loving Tylers.
